EPURER, \u00e9purer, il en restera toujours quelque chose, dit le photographe Philippe Biancotto, dont l\u2019objectif est d\u2019aller \u00e0 l\u2019essentiel, tout en sachant jusqu\u2019o\u00f9 aller trop loin avec son sujet.<\/sup><\/sup><\/sup><\/sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hommes, femmes, connus ou inconnus, sont capt\u00e9s sans concessions ni mise en sc\u00e8ne. Ce qui lu<\/sup>i permet d\u2019engager le dialogue avec son mod\u00e8le, de rentrer dans son univers avant de l\u2019en extr<\/sup>aire. Le manque d\u2019histoire cr\u00e9e l\u2019intimit\u00e9 et stimule la curiosit\u00e9.<\/sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quand on lui fait remarquer qu\u2019il ne cherche p<\/sup>as \u00e0 embellir ses sujets, il reconna<\/sup>\u00eet pr\u00e9f\u00e9rer r\u00e9v\u00e9ler une personnalit\u00e9 plut\u00f4t qu\u2019un aspect physique vite d\u00e9pass\u00e9. \u00c0 ses yeux, la photo est plus un regard et une attitude qu\u2019une repr\u00e9sentation statique. C\u2019est la prise de vue qui l\u2019excite, et ce qui se passe dans sa dur\u00e9e.<\/sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce marseillais d\u2019origine a un<\/sup> parcours atypique. Il fait ses d\u00e9buts \u00e0 Londres en shootant des pochettes de disques. Pu<\/sup>is pendant 4 ans au cabinet de Jack Lang, il est responsable de l\u2019image du Ministre de la Culture. <\/sup>Trois ans au Br\u00e9sil pour la chaine Rede Globo le forment \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation de d\u00e9cors de film<\/sup>s.<\/sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

C\u2019est \u00e0 Paris qu\u2019il choisit d\u00e9finitivement la photograph<\/sup>ie.<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

PHILIPPE BIANCOTTO demeure actuellement \u00e0 Paris, en tant que photographe, principalement de portraits et de mode.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Men, women, known or unknown, are captured without any concession or staging. Which allows Philippe to engage in a dialogue with his model, to penetrate his universe before extracting it. The lack of (hi)story\/background??? creates\/brings about intimacy and stimulates curiosity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When one points out that he does not embellish his subjects, he admits he prefers revealing a personality rather than a physical aspect soon out-dated. From his point of view, a photo constitutes a look and an attitude more than a static representation. The shooting and what happens in its duration stimulate him best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This artist from \/ made in Marseilles has led an unusual route. Actually, he made his debut in London (by) shooting album covers. Then, for four years, he has been in charge of the image of the French Minister of Culture Jack Lang. When three years in Brazil, he worked for Channel REDE GLOBO and learned how to achieve\/create\/make film sets.
